FonoForum 03 / 07: "Dieses kleine Stückchen reißt niemanden vom Stuhl, aber es unterhält doch aufs Angenehmste, zumal die musikalischen Leistungen durchweg erfreulich sind und die Inszenierung von János Tóth ganz aus dem Geist der Musik entwickelt ist und den motivierten jungen Sängern die nötigen komödiantischen Hilfestellungen gibt. Dabei lässt vor allem Edit Károly als Lenina erfrischendes Spieltalent erkennen. Gesanglich ist sie mit unaufdringlicher Soubrettenstimme ebenso am rechten Platz wie die lyrische Beatrix Fodor als Beatrice."
