Biografie (Werner Herzog)

Werner Herzog wurde als Werner H. Stipetic am 5. Septbember 1942 in München geboren und wuchs in einem abgelegenen Dorf in Bayern auf. Als Kind kannte er weder Film, Fernsehen oder ein Telefon. Mit 14 begann er zu Reisen und telefonierte zum ersten Mal mit 17. Während des Studiums arbeitete er Nachtschichten als Schweißer, um seinen ersten Film zu produzieren, was ihm 1961 mit 19 gelang. Seitdem hat er mehr als 40 Filme gedreht, produziert oder in ihnen mitgespielt. Daneben inszenierte er Opern und veröffentlichte mehr als 12 Bücher.
